All this discussion about what condition to carry your weapon.

Well, it's really simple.

Carry in Condition #1

and

KEEP YOUR BOOGER HOOK OFF OF THE BANG SWITCH.

Problem solved.

To this day, the BHP is my favorite handgun. Perfect? nah. Can it be made better? Yep...just disable the magazine safety. Most comfortable stock grips by far of any gun I have fired, to include Sig Sauer's VERY nice 1911. The 9mm is a perfectly capable man stopper.

I think most of the dislike for the BHP stems more from the fact that you can't get it in anything bigger than a .40...

That being said, I REALLY want a Taurus PT1911...

I dunno, it's close but he may be a few inches high and to the right.

Just some flash burns at most, nothing to worry about.

I like the Kel-Tec's

I wouldn't mind having an SU-16c for a carbine, as I like their (what looks like) short-stroke piston system over the direct-impingement system Armalite/Colt uses, and it's cheaper than HK's similar tappet system. PLR16 for a toy pistol or close range weapon. Both in 5.56 would share STANAG magazines (looks like, anyway). The RFB in 'sporter' format would probably do well for me for a 300+ yard target rifle.

For shotgun, I'd go for an SRMArms model 1216 with 16 round rotary magazine.

Yup, I didn't want to make any comments on hearing loss.
