There are some real 6PPC nuts out there because the bolt guns like the original Sakos and custom benchrest guns shoot better than anything else. So you might find a good buyer and get a good price. I don't know if the Ruger lever gun is real accurate, as are the bolt guns, but if you want to reload, brass in that caliber is available. But factory ammo is nonexistant except for some reloaded stuff and Sako original ammo at $5.00/round.

I wish I could hold it that still! I was firing at 25 yards. Seriously, this 1.5" Baer will put them exactly where you put the sight. My biggest challenge is just holding it still.

Funny- I acquired 6MM PPC dies and no gun to go with it. That caliber is pretty much roll-your-ownly.

You can at least buy the brass now, which is a big step forward. I almost bought a nice Sako 6PPC last year.

I was having a conversation with a friend and he was considering a firearm with laser sight. He asked me if you really hit where the laser is and I said, yeah, but put the laser on something and see how consistenly you can hold it. I said, if you think you can hold it still, you won't after having a laser sight and watching it float around the quarter-sized target. Most guns will put them where you place them, it's just that most of us think we place them better than the gun shoots when in fact it's the other way around.

Picked up a new Mark 3 today. Didn't get to do a whole lot of shooting as it was stupid cold and it took more time than I expected to disassemble, clean and reassemble it before firing for the first time. Over all it seems like it will be a fun firearm to train with when at the range or out back for a lot less than the 9mm.

Yeah, I've been an old school shooter for years and just got into semi auto pistols this year. So I'm going thru the learning curve.
