Yep - i planned on it being the permanent slide.. so not overly concerned on a bit of frame wear.

motor31 - yes, i agree 100% as well, but as i said it will be perm. I have been working the slide quite a bit and it feels like it's 'loosened' up a bit from where it was. It seems with the hammer down it is much harder to cycle.. however, if i pull the hammer back and rack it.. it's seems almost perfect (albeit just a tad tighter than the stock slide). I'm going to use a bit of that Brownells lapping compound and take it to the range next week. I'll post up some results afterward, hope it holds at least the same grouping as before (if not better).

I have em. Carbine and pistol. Good info and worth having to get in the mindset and as refreshers.

However, nothing beats hands on training with a good instructor

Looking for something like the SW Bodyguard with built in Laser in a 9mm. I like the size and feel of the BG.

Closest you'll get is .38 special with a set of Lasergrips. Same diameter bullet, and the .38 has more case capacity than a 9. With a barrel that short, you're limited in actual velocity, anyway, no matter what cartridge is used.

That's about right Dire, I just sold 250 rounds of .223 and a single 30rd mag for $350.00. I may have had 100 into the whole deal.

It is a real funny shirt tho.

I just got about 500 .45 brass....they had to qualify at work last week, trustees had to clean up the range, I got the brass...win win all the way around.

Time to start reloading.
