Oh, I like that, must confuse the fuck out of both sides at the range!

Did it come with that furniture or is that your work?

1400 fps 783 ft. lbs. (scroll down 3 inch barrel 1302 fps) => https://www.buffalobore.com/index.ph...t_detail&p=100

On my 4 inch .357, I prefer the 125 grain. 1,700 fps and 802 ft. lbs. at top of page, but per 4 inch barrel chart down below 1603 ft./Sec. https://www.buffalobore.com/index.ph...t_detail&p=103 See Video below on 125 grain BB, 4 inch barrel.

Maximum specs on 38 Super +P is 115 Grain. 1450 fps and 537 ft lbs.
If you want the larger grain, go to 147 grain or 124 grain which would probably be better for a 2.5' barrel, you can look up the specs here => 147 grain => https://www.buffalobore.com/index.ph...t_detail&p=229 124 grain => https://www.buffalobore.com/index.ph...t_detail&p=227

This Video belwo, might help you understand what punch Buffalo Bores have on .357 round vs a .38 Special Round.

Only thing I use for Concealed Carry in all my firearms is BB. Love the specs on their +P+ 9mm and does that Ammo perform.
I think he said .38spl +P which is a very different animal from .38 Super.

I find that chronographing loads is very interesting, because not only do the factory loads tend to vary wildly from what they claim, but the same load in different guns does as well.

For example my carry load when I'm hiking is a 140 grain Hornady XTP using H110.
In SP101 2.25": 1220fps/463ft.lbs
S&W 686 4": 1367/581
Blackhawk 6.5": 1452/655

A 125 gr Rem. Golden Saber load with H110:
In SP101 2.25": 1229fps/415ft.lbs
Ruger Security Six 4": 1377/526
S&W 686 4": 1351/507
New Vaquero 4 5/8": 1451/584
Blackhawk 6.5": 1488/614

A 125 grain Remington Golden Saber load with AA#2 for less flash (also the load I use - except with rainier PlRN - when I shoot the 686 in IDPA):
In SP101 2.25": 1267fps/445ft.lbs
Ruger Security Six 4": 1367/519
S&W 586 4": 1343/501

And a 158 grain Nosler load with L'll Gun:
In SP101 2.25": 1114fps/435ft.lbs
New Vaquero 4 5/8": 1350/639
Blackhawk 6.5": 1356/645

All chronoed with the start screen at 5 feet from the muzzle.

Dunno if all that is interesting to anyone

My new to me guide gun. With JM proofmark and 2002 production year serial number.

That's a Montana sling.

Love the stainless Guide Gun but my old 1895 is so accurate that I just could never justifying getting a Guide Gun.

I so don't need one but my bud wanted cash and I could not stand seeing it go, so I'm sort of holding it for him. It's great looking and could be a good camp gun.

I think it will be amusing to load for.

Mine's partial to H4895 and Speer 400 gr JSPs. My favorite load gives me 1779 fps/2810 ft lbs chronoed at 5 feet and 1" groups at 100 yds.
