1911 in 9mm?
Any thoughts on a compact 1911 in 9mm? I'd like a 1911, but I like cheaper (and more readily available) 9mm ammo, and everything I've read says the 1911's have virtually no recoil when chambered for 9mm. Also a nice, slim profile. Kimber makes a bunch of them with compact 3" barrels that are pretty nice looking and would make a good carry gun.
