ridiculously so.

In fact, I think it's borderline useless for hunting because it's so destructive.

here's a stolen picture of a can of sauerkraut being hit by an hmr:

It's the Ruger Charger. I've been thinking about getting a fun plinking gun and this one looks the funnest.
A coworker has one. Shot it a bit at the range one day - pretty fun, must admit. Don't know how long before the novelty would wear off, but I bet it wouldn't take too long.

I am going to afix one the Tactical Solutions barrels to mine threaded for a can. It uses the same V Block mounting as a regular 10-22 so the barrel swap takes just a few minutes.

At any rate, it's small and easy to transport on a bike.
Mine shoots well. If I had a serious piece of glass on it vs red dot I could relize the full potential.

It's funny that ruger took their popular semi-auto .22 rifle,
and made it into a pistol,

while browning took their popular semi-auto .22 pistol,
and made it into a rifle.

They did that a long time ago though.

I really thought about building a SBR (like this one) out of a 10-22 with slightly longer barrel.

I bought one of these Mossberg's recently and I've got to admit that the redneck in me loves it! By far my favorite gun that I own. (I'm easily amused)

bentspoke got one last year. same exact I think.

I still miss my buckmark II that was a squirrel killin little gun.

Here are some of mine

Remington 541T, SKS, Mossberg 500, 10/22, Benelli M3, TC Contender, Desert Eagle, Ruger 22/45, Kimber .45, Taurus .357, Beretta 92

Since this pic I've converted the Mossberg to a pistol gripped short barrel and got a Buckmark .22 and Remington 870 slugger

From all my research the Norinco M97 Trench is better then the original. IIRC, an expert Smith from the US, his name eludes me, helped Norinco fine tune the M97.

I've noticed real M1897's have dropped in prices. Real Trench Guns are $$$ and some Riot Guns are $$$ but for teh most parts the break-down and standard 24-26" seem to be around $6-800. I'd hate to cut one down to make a Riot or Trench though.
