How much money will I be spending on one of these, realistically, on the used market?
Whaddya'll think, about 375 for the BHP? Have one...but, bought it in 1990

(not my picture)

I have the Henry 22 magnum in the octogon barrell Golden Boy edition. What a slick, sweet shooting rifle.

Yeah, but I rarely go to the pistol range anymore, and I've never seen a pistol in the paper. (There is a bulletin board at the range.) Seems like the used market dried up a little with the election...

Based on my initial reasearch - I think I'd pull $375 out pretty quick if I found a deal like that, I was expecting more in the $500 range for the browning...

Yes, for an older Belgium GP in minty condition you would. I really like the GP myself as I carry a 1911. If you actually carry the GP and properly train, cocked & locked makes it a fine piece with modern ammo (IMO).

Does the term GP signify belgium manufacture? Or is it the more proper shorthand for the hi-power?

My carry gun. H&K mod 4 in 32acp. Accurate, light and reliable.

How do you like it? I'm actually looking at the plain-jane Henry .22 for plinking.
I just found my reciept, and my Henry .22 lever was $254 at Wal-Mart.

This one did not come from Wal-Mart,....

It is a great shooter, but the round is rather anemic for self defense. The Marlin Camp Carbine in 45 ACP is a hoot-ta-shoot.

I have a Ruger PC9 that is a lot of fun to warm up.

Love the levers.

I like the old .22 pumpers as well.
