I'll admit, that only having a front sight and no rear, and the fact that it's a flintlock smoothbore, I can only get about a 5" group O/H @ 25 yds

The kids get a kick out of shooting their textbooks with a .50bmg when they're done with them. I taught them to soak them up with water before they shoot them, so they 'splode. They set up cameras, document it, really get into it. They also do cell phones, Ipods, cameras, or whatever quits working. Must be a common occurence.

I blew up a friend's wife's toaster with my AR50 a couple years ago. She was pissed that it didn't work right, the store apparently wouldn't take it back, so she had it at the range and was drilling little 6mm caliber-sized holes through it with her 243 at 75 yards. I'd just put the big 50 away when she asked if I'd dig it back out and shoot the toaster. I groaned, said sure, and told her to take it out to 200. One shot and the toaster was airborne......in about 23 pieces. She was mighty gratified. Wish we'd had it on video. I have an old POS laptop that will get the 50bmg treatment one of these days.

Laser= at 5 yards you are going to hit it anyhow without it.

That is a Dragoon she has. Mine is a Walker rep. It was the most powerful handgun until the .44 mag was intriduced. It weighs almost 5 pounds. It was called a horse pistol as was the dragoon because the weight would steady the gun while riding horseback. It is a fun gun and hits wild hogs like thors hammer.

I can't argue with that. That is probably the best made. I had one for a while. Mine is realy well made but I got it 20 years ago. I like it enough I had the holster made for it. Black powder is dirty it stinks and the push kick is kind of nasty and hard to be real accurate I have another that chain fired once.I still cant figure out where the other five bullets went. It now sets on the mantel. I love them.

I would love to see a picture of the box. Dad bought mine from Sears when I was born also have a Ted Williams 12 ga pump (Winchester). They are not valuable but worth the world to me. I will put the pic of the sling tonight when I get home.
