we order the gun to be delivered to a store with an FFL, I have never seen it up close.

Now days, there is a simpler device to do it.As easy to work as a fire extinguisher.

Both devices are kind of expensive to use.
When I went through the fire academy, there was on one the wall. It was a modified Trap Door Springfield with a can for the line under the barrel. Never saw it in operation.

They also had a Jetaxe. It was a shaped charge for blowing entry holes in concrete walls. Never saw that in operation either.

One thing we got to play with some was a water bazooka. It looked like a WW2 flame thrower. A water tank, an air tank on a back pack and a wand. It would blast a gallon of water out of a three inch diameter tube at high velocity. Don't shoot it at anyone closer than about six feet.

10+ on the Buckmark, easily the best for the $$ .22 Semi Auto.

I know that I am a retarded bastard, but is that a semi auto and with the addition of sliding butt stock allows one to shoot like a full auto? And if it is, could I ever have one in California?

I have a Ruger MKII 6" barrel cheapie job I bought new about 17 years ago. Very dependable and surprisingly accurate. Non adjustable sights (drift rear) and a PIA to take down and clean.

Bought a Buckmark a year or two ago. What a nice pistol. Can't say it's more accurate than the MKII but it's easier to shoot better with its balance and better sights. Fabulous value.

Ended up with a couple of Hi Standards too. One is the Victor model and it's super accurate, hefty, best trigger you'll ever feel too. But I'm real careful with it and won't just carry it around (well it's heavy too) when I'm out camping.

Overall the Buckmark gets the nod in my book.

Good choice! I've put thousands of rounds through mine. Had it threaded for my AAC Pilot and it gets abused every time I go to Oregon and has never let me down. Enjoy!
