For shits and giggles check out the hipoint torture test on youtube.
They beat the living crap out a c9 to try and get it to fail.
I like my C-9. It goes boom, puts rounds into the target. It is ugly and not as nice to hold in my hand, but what do your want for $109.

It was a bit finicky during the first 100 shots, but smoothed out after that. It is also a bit finicky on brand of ammunition, but so are all my firearms.

I would love to have a fancy Xd or Kimber, but can't justify it.

I've thought about one just to be the 'truck' gun ; a gun whose finish I don't care about but will fire if needed. Stick in the truck and leave it.

Just curious, where did you get this / order it from. The $130 for hand select sounds great. I've been wanting to try one out.

I didn't want that for mine and had Aim Surplus find me a well worn but nice shooter. It took em a few weeks to get to the bottom of the crate..

I couldnt be any happier! It was exacty what I was looking for and it is a tack driver!

Here it is below after breakdown and cleaning.

You might as well start calling your shoes "socks", too.

On another more on-topic note, I shot a few boxes of ammo through a brand new S&W Sigma .40 and found it to be light, accurate, intuitive, easy to handle and had a great trigger. Oh, and the magazine releases very nicely too. One FTF about a quarter way through the second box of semi wadcutter but I'm chalking it up to the pistol being brand spanking new. Best of all they're cheap as dirt.

We chopped it down to "commander" length, manufactured a custom barrel bushing, custom barrel, thumb safety and other small parts. Coated with our Isonite QPQ treatment, slimmed the grip down .300 and made some grips out of a pair of take off S&W grips.
