I think it hasd top be a model 15 since they are limited to .38spl, and the stainless model 10 was a 15. I have only seen the blued ones and they are all modded model 10s. Model 60 is a snubnose .38spl.

What other easy tricks can be done to make it mo bettah?
WHat type of polishing compound? Chrome? Jeweler's?

I inherited an 03, but haven't fooled with it much. Somebody makes a safety like that as well as a trigger, mine could use both.

Dremel tool set to low speed, felt tips, and Dremel polishing compound #421. Kinda looks like red clay. Seemed to work well and cleaned up easily. The most obvious improvement came from buffing the plunger rod that holds the safety - now I can disengage the safety with the grip hand thumb instead of using my opposite hand.

I like it a lot.

Though I found my trigger finger was getting numb around round 30 or so. But the rest of my hand/wrist had no trouble with it.

Does it do the same for you?

It was a range gun and pretty dirty, dunno how often they clean then.

I think it may have been ergonomics or something, I assume it wouldn't be as big of an issue shooting .38spl out of it, but it was banging my index finger around in the trigger area pretty hard.

I am too busy resetting the trigger during muzzle flip to notice.
