My wife always HATED this part of our drive to Lake Powell... I always towed the 5th wheel and she followed along towing the bass boat.
 A few years ago one of those damn-crazzy-tour-busses passed her going up this hill.  She was on the inside lane with no shoulder and it scarred the crap out of her! She was not concerned about being in an accident… but- - - what I may do to the stupid bus driver if he scratched my pristine boat!  Hopefully they will fix this correctly and not do a quick-fix.

I definitely want to visit. We FINALLY sold our house in Mesa in January. Glad that nightmare is over.
 The local inmates and I are considering riding Baja in October, but I don't know yet if I can make it... Got a little taste of desert riding last weekend. Ride report is HERE. It didn't end so well. First time I've ever been fully extracted with a dead bike.

Fri morning I decide to sell my SIDI Adventure Rain boots, I look on the FM thread --NO BOOTS FOR SALE--- I should be able to move these fast enough. Get new tires for the GS, that will help Dillon buy diapers, the planets will align, & world peace is a possibility. WRONG!!! I go back about noon to ck the ad, there is now seven ads for boots,damn, I ck again Saturday morning, there are now 13 ads for boots , double damn, I ck again Sunday, and at 9:51 am this clown puts up the same ad as mine only his are the Gortex model, 5 hrs later at 1;16 pm his are sold & there is still 12 set of boots for sale, well triple damn So with this fabulous Irish luck I have, I see no new rock tires for the GS, Dillons kid is going naked and I still have the damn boots. ain't life grand.
