I cross checked the part numbers for the shifter pawl on the Honda microfich, and the part number for the stock pawl was the same across the 650 L, R as well as the XR/L 600.

Gather that is held in place with OEM rubber straps?
Can you supply info re cutout size for the headlight and possibly part number?
Many thanks,

That's the stock US number plate. It's similar to the 600 but updated (for 2000). Curvier/sleeker.

Thanks for the confirmation guys!

Anybody have the quiet insert for the FMF exhaust now?

This bike is rediculous and wearing ear plugs day in and day out gets a bit tiring.

Might try to source a fix mysel by making one if nobody has one. Should have kept the ones I had for my Akropovic exhaust for my sport bike. No idea if it would have fit though.

I am not a big proponent of LED lights, but these guys are getting me more interested. The prices seem decent, and they sponser a bit of off-road racing. http://www.lifetimeledlights.com/Off...ights_c_8.html

All the product listed on their page is Chinese produced and available from a ton of different sources. With the amount of money they are making per light, they can afford to give out replacement lights since they are making 2-300% per light, hence the lifetime warranty. I would rather spend my dollars with American based companies, which also offer lifetime warranties and I get a real live person to talk to as an added bonus.

MY ADV monster light appears to be of great quality, and the price was great.

I saw this, http://f650.com/forum/showthread.php...Light-Teardown and I will probably give them a shot myself.

Edit, well maybe. Towards the end of the thread, things aren't looking that good.

Looks very clean. I don't remember seeing it on CL. Just got mine recently and already have it torn apart getting it into shape. Hope to see you on the back 40! Also I purchased some special tools if needed ever to borrow.
