That's one gorgeous motorcycle! If it had about 30 more horsepower, dual discs up front, and a real suspension I'd buy one. As it stands I think once the styling became familiar and the novelty wore off the lack of performance would make it more of a garage fixture than something I'd itch all week to jump on Sunday morning. You could buy an immaculate classic late-series LeMans for less than the V7 Classic, and not only would you have the real deal, but better performance and a future appreciating collectible. If these retro bikes aren't going to significantly improve on the originals then you might as well buy the real deal, in my opinion. Hopefully Moto Guzzi will expand this series with something that's more comparable to a Ducati Paul Smart.

Why, in the name of God, has no one suggested a used Triumph Thunderbird or Thunderbird Sport?
![]() ![]() ![]() It's a Triumph, it's a triple, and the sport has 83 bhp. My next bike.

New bike with a classic look? How about an actual new classic bike?

Looks cool. Beats the hell out of the idea of a scooter. $3500 isn't too bad. Nice retro looks.
