Here we go then!

Carboard template, a couple of brackets, and the geginning of a subframe...

Hmmmmmmmmmm....I ain't liking this.....

Yeah...this is better. Under the frame, formed to match.

Transitioning from square to round, single mid mount tacked in. Oil cooler DOES need to be relocated, but within the reach of all the stock lines. Just need a little room to access the front mount.

Not bad for the first 4 hours....more tomorrow.

Very cool project! Talk about another way I could ride around with my girlfriend...Hmmm!

We'll have to go racing around on some back roads when you get done. I'll want to see thar thing in action!

That's what I'm building her for....uhhhhhhhh....the Majic Monkee Man Map of Backroads, that is.....of course if your girl freind is cute....I guess I could be persuaded to take her along with .....oh...wait a minute.....you meant YOU, could take your girl freind for rides....I'm with you now...

Back to bidness.... started a few heim end brackets this morning, was gonna get back on the sub frame.... but looked at that wheel and tire, with no swing arm...and I just had to.

It ain't done yet, still got a little grinding and cleaning to do, maybe install the bushings tomorrow, throw on some primer, then she'll be ready when I need her...

Thanks Pezz. Check this out, ground, sanded, finish welded, ground again, primed, oil lite bronze bushings installed...

And the right side subframe, had so many tack welds, I thought maybe I should seam up a few, so I don't reak it later...as I start adding the left side, and tying them together...

Just about when things started going good...the camera batteries croaked out....

So there are a few gaps in here, just use your imagination....cutting, welding, fitting, grinding....

Which got us to this point, after I rememberred to get some batteries...

Not sure what, if anything, I'll get done this next week, but whatever I do, I'll post it for y'all.
