Have you thought about going with just a round headlight and ditching the bikini fairing? If I had one that would be the rout I would go.

I did this recently and added a Givi A620 universal windshield. It works really good and doesn't hurt the looks to much. I will try to post pics soon.

to counter the wind blast on a naked I find it best if I'm leaning forward just a little.

so a new bar and a seat that has a raise behind you will help.

+1 leaning forward in to the wind. it is why it is so comfy to ride a naked standard. just balance speed, shoulder position, etc, and take the weight off your hands.

I never found cruising at 70 mph an issue with no fairing at all, but that was on an old cb750 and it wouldn't really do any more for a long day of slab. Now I have the zrx, with the fairing 90 mph (indicated) cruising is easy and the bike seems to settle there pretty nicely, but I think if I take the fairing off my drivers license will appreciate it. throttle sticky-ifier will help, too....

and the bars really do have way too much sweep back for my taste, but I am waiting to mess around some more with all the different options (including pulling the fairing) up front before I go buying stuff....

At first I thought I wouldn't like it, but after my 100 mile highway ride yesterday I really enjoyed how it felt. I maintained about 70 mph the whole way and didn't feel fatigue at all. The wind was manageable. It is definitely staying like it is.

Good to get the input. I've been thinking about it a lot. I like the look better, too. can't ride yet (injury) but once I'm back on there are a few things I'd like to do to prep the bike for long rides and that is way up there on the list of things to try......

I just thought I would share what a Givi A620 Universal windshield looks like mounted on a ZRX1100 with a round headlight. It works quite well with olny slightly more wind noise. But it makes my 50 mile commute much easier to handle. Takes about 3 minutes to take off but slightly longer to put back on, about 10 minutes. It is a 4-point mounting system, 2 on the handlebars and 2 on the forks.

Damn all your pictures, I want one now! Been looking around and you can find them for sub 3k and as low as 2500. That's a LOT of bike for the money!

Finally made it to this thread!
I've been a ZRX owner since 2000. If anyone is even remotely considering purchasing one-don't hesitate! It is great all-rounder.

Great looking bike there Duke II. So what type of mods have you done to yours? Especially love the vintage style Kerker, it fits that bike so perfectly.
