That is an awesome piece. Bad thing is you'll have more money in suspension than the thing is worth before it's overwith. I'm doing the suspension on mine over the winter, but I still can't bring myself to spring for the Ohlins forks. Besides, my skills can't even stretch the stock stuff beyond their limits. I'm doing it for the full on posuer effect I guess, but it will be nice to get the ass end tightend up.

Good luck I hope you find the one and bring it to where you want

Ohlins isn't the only avenue for ass-tightening; check out Bitubo (via Traxxion). RT's new KYB kit looks very interesting, too, but I did the Bitubo route before they came out with that.

Yah--even looks like a USD speedo pickup. If I ever do anything beyond springs/oil for my forks (05's, no valve options), I'll be combing the zrxXX.org forums for something like that.

Maybe, but anything else will still never be a ZRX. I'll keep pouring money into mine until I return to dust--my heir can part it out if she wants... but I'm hoping to raise her better than that.

+1 exactly.....I'm guessing my 2000 is worth 2500 on a good day but I wouldn't hesitate to spend another 3 to 4k for the mods installed on the bike above. I have no intention of ever selling and the fact that they don't export the bike to this market makes it a no brainer. Classic styling and good looks combined with all day riding comfort to go with endless torque easily make this the best all around street bike for me. Now where's my credit card....

Sooo... any of you guys ever tried an XJR1300 or a GSX1400?
Maybe even a CB1300?

Not sure what's available across the pond, but here in EU we had
all of'em (CBs are very rare tho), and most who ridden all of
them would usually place the ZRX last..

We can only longingly wish for those bikes here in the colonies. Man I'd love to get ahold of an FJR1300, but that'll likely never happen

Here is my 1999. The mods are fairly modest, but quite effective. Most everything was sourced or made by ZRXOA members.
