I wish you all would stop talking about URAL's and showing pictures.
I think I might have to sell my 9fidy and get another Patrol or Gear up. ![]() Marc

Urals aren't really any fun, waste of money.

The Ural starts better than my Suzuki in cold weather. The other morning we have -4 F or so and the bike sat in my unheated garage all night. Went out in the morning and kicked it over a few times. Turned the kill switch on and it started on the second kick with no problem.

Do Urals Like Cold Weather?
They're built in Siberia, after all. Neither of my Urals had any problem starting in cold weather. Even the '97, which was kick start only.
1wd hacks do fine in the snow as well. I spent part of the day today blasting around on mine. With a TKC 80 on the back, it goes and goes. With a TKC 80 and chains, it really goes.

I probably should have bid on that '08 on E-Bay for $9999 but something just didn't seem right.

Howdy twstm, I know NOTHING about the rig, just that it is a good price if the rig is in good shape. I would strongly suggest not buying anything older then 2005 and 2007 or newer if you have the money. Don't get me wrong there is nothing wrong with the 2006 model year its just that the 2007 had more improvements. I am NOT a dealer, I get NOTHING out of Ural sales, I just ride the phuck out of them and have a small sponsorship that allows me to do some of the crazy stuff I enjoy. That being said the improvements made to the new 2008 models are if you can afford it worth the extra money.
