(long reply erased)

You use what you want, I'll use what I want, how's that? lol

I've built quite a few motors in my time, and performed countless oil tests, so I'm quite happy with my decisions on MY bikes.

Which is exactly what I said.

My response was more in response to another comment saying that the filter looked like junk even though nobody seems to know what it's made of. It could be the best thing since sliced bread.

Wouldn't a baguette or some sort of roll hold the oil better?

This thread has gone a bit quiet ....

Just added a very nice Top Sellerie seat ( I know, I'd never heard of it either)

A Phil's Farkles rack extender, and a Remus Okami slip on in stainless ...

The bike is getting there now

That looks very similar to the V&H slip-on.

Gaggle, group, collection, hord?

I wonder if we could get more than a dozen C14's together for a photo within a radius of middle TN.

Put on a new PR3 rear today 11,094 miles on the old tire surprised I had racked up so many miles.
Shows to much straight road riding.
Used calipers to check tread depth of the center only, measured from .010" to .04 around the tire
with some center tread completely worn away.
Not what I wanted to start out on a 1,500 mile trip with.
Kept the old tire as a just in case.

So, you put on a new tire after the trip, right?

Btw, I like getting to Big Bob Gibson's when I'm in the area or passing through!

Naw...before, not that kind of adventurous.
Big Bob's is a good stop, try the pie.
When ever you arrange the C-14 group shot, I'll bring a silver one.

Been out for a run around Leicestershire this afternoon... the first trip out with the new seat and Remus fitted

First stop was Market Bosworth. Site of the Battle of Bosworth August 22nd 1485 ....They're presently trying to confirm the identity of bones dug up in a car park in Leicester as Richard III's .

Market Bosworth has a lovely country park, which today was pretty empty

Across the road is Bosworth Hall Hotel.. a nice driveway with another photo opportunity

A little further on in Wellsborough ( Just off the A444) is a bit of abandoned machinery.... Old meets new (er)

Another few miles on and we have Gibbet Lane , Congerstone... I tend to take a photo of all my bikes next to the gibbet post.... the board at the side explains it all

Top Sellerie seat is a real improvement on the already good standard seat....

Remus no pops and bangs, and not much noisier than standard.... so good all round.
