What kind of boots were you wearing? Seems like a lot of foot damage.

Rode my friends c14 for a few miles. i am coming from a 2005 fz1.
anyway, i really really wanted to love the bike. coming from a fz1 1) the wind protection is awesome, i am 6 3 and never had any bike with this kind of protection....love it. 2) Felt a little heavy in slow speed , but i guess if i ride fast i will be fine. 3)The most bothersome point . the leg room . i have 34 inseam and coming off the 05 fz1 the leg room was very tight. I do have buell pegs on the fz1 but the transformation was drastice. |

Did you pick up on any additional buzzing or vibs since the pegs don't have the rubber pad? I've been considering an alternative peg for a while, but other things are ahead of the list getting ready for the southwest tour.

Bilt Explorer. No damage to the boot. That was the foot that broke the left handlebar. Also scrapes and bruising to inner left thigh from that handlebar. I think boots did well.

Wow egodriver, glad you're mostly ok! Bikes can be replaced, people can't be!
On another note, anyone here install a set of Pirelli Angel STs recently? Curious to what you all think about them.
