Link had an incident with his chicken stix and the sauce he chose.
![]() Seems like that flavor did not jive well with the blue of his bike, and jumped to the ground, ![]() slobbering his bike, and his laig, and most of the sauce ended up on his boot!,,what's a man to do? ![]() Well Duh! he mops the sauce off his boot, and keeps on riding! like whaut real men do! Mmmm,,boot gravy on yer chickn stix! Pretty much set the tone for the rest of the day's ride,,safety meetings excluded. I got yelled at because I was taking too long to appear at "the cabin",,but when I got down there,,these FF's were mucking up my view,,

![]() West argues pretty well that everyone should have one KLR; it's a great loaner bike for any ride imaginable- you're welcome to it on the next outing you can make regardless. STOP THE PRESSES!! http://portland.craigslist.org/clk/mcy/3314854819.html That goes for you too, yes you, reading these words.

I've got a camera full of photos I haven't looked at or uploaded yet. That's tonight's task (fell asleep in front of the TV on the couch last night...). Hopefully a few will be worthy of sharing.
![]() In the meantime, let me express my thanks and appreciation to this motley crew. What a blast! And what a beautiful day! Nearly pooped my pants on that one section of downhill on Sharps Creek -- the section that Grant passed me on! I guess that on that little bike he didn't have far to fall...![]() OMB, you do know how to lead a merry chase! Cheers, all!

Thanks you fellers...and gal, for dragging me along....I had a GREAT time! As stated...I didn't fall down and I didn't make anyone else fall down.
(y'all ride WAAAAYYYYYY too fast though...I mean for a guy just gettin' back into motorcycle ridin' and who's got crappy medical coverage and who's coming to grips with his mortal side) OAN(s).....The ride into work today was warm....the ride home won't be. Think I'll take Brush Creek and head up through Shotgun over to Seeley Creek the back way into B'Ville....now that I'm an offroad 'veteran' and all. Here's a question....where'd all the OTHER motorcycles go? They must be made outta soap flakes or some other sh_t that melts in water!

Sunday's Merry Chase
In addition to a fabulous ride, we got up to the usual silliness...
I'm not sure what TBlume is thinking here.... especially given he's sitting on my bike. ![]() 126 was beautiful, dry, and as Czechplease point out, almost completely devoid of other motorcycles, especially pirates. Guess they' were afraid of the possibility of getting wet. West provinding the mandatory ride briefing... ...after which we split up to commune with our steeds. Shortly, the 555s made an appearance on their oldies but goodies. Soon, we found ourselves at Cougar Dam awaiting He Who Must Ride His Own Way. Next stop was The Cabin. Must have a name, but I didn't bother to ask. Yet another chance to gather and talk about our bikes. Some of lined up for some reason. OMB offering his view on the advantages of shakes over shingles. On the Noonday Road heading to Bohemia Saddle. Our numbers slowly dwindling... Those old bikes did need a bit of attention from time to time. After descending Sharps Creek Rd. Boy, THAT was fun!
