Nah.....it ain't like that at all. You guys are all swell fellas...and ladies. I been meaning to try to make it one Wednesday, but.....well....I guess I gotta get some priorities straight(er). I have been riding in from B'ville most days for work...and taking Shotgun home. I even managed to stupidly get caught on a muddy skid trail on the downslope one evening. I tried to turn around and ended up having to drag the Klr...on it's side...away from the sloping edge I had let the front tire slide towards/partially down. I don't remember ordering the Klr-H model....H being 'heavy'. Fear of spending the night in the woods alone must've given me supermutantstrength...but I wasn't anywhere's near crying.....yet.

I've been lurking here and y'all seem to like Quakers for a meeting place, but here's the important question............

.......do they gots a hummus platter?

Oh Crap! You didn't get them wet did you? That instantly voids the warranty.

oh, and he's johny on the spot for replacement parts- but they oughta just dry out after they get opened, and once re-sealed with a little silly-cone be fine?

blue cheese meatloaf.....hmmmmmm....that sounds good!

One light had a hint of moisture on the inside of the lens, the other had lots of droplets. I already opened the lights once to dry 'em out and make sure the rubber gaskets were put in correctly....it looked like they were. I put 'em back together and I carefully alternated the allen bolt tightening to make sure the lens plates went on 'evenly'. At this point, one's staying dry for now, but it was under a cover for the last heavy rain. The other went right back to showing the water droplets, despite being under the cover.

Not much room for silicone on the gaskets without risking it getting on the reflectors. I'm thinking I might just wrap a section of bicycle innertube around the lights right at the seam between the lens housing and the light body.....

.....but, for a light designed for the front of a 4x4 that could see submersion repeatedly during serious four-wheeling trips.....I shouldn't have to........just sayin'

Good idea.....now that you mention it...that almost seems more likely the point of H2o entry since, as stated, the lens gaskets appeared correctly installed when I pulled 'em apart.
(maybe I'll just stuff a couple little dessicant pillows in the housings and swap 'em out ever week during the rainy time)

Np. Sorry to hear about the water issues. These are few and far between. I had an issue with a bog bar a few months ago but not with the smaller module lights. I have replacments for all of everyones lights in stock ! I am happy to swap them out for you anytime.

Thanks Tim !

I try my best. I went back to my old job and have been out of town for a few months. I wish I was able to make a few more meetings but they will be harder to hit. I will try next week for sure.

If anyone needs anything LED related please call or text me.. I have most all items in stock and ready to go. Warranty or not.

Delayed as I am in most things, finally connected with Peterman. He used an old tap from Miguel to make me a tap handle. So it's a tap handle made from a tap....ya dig?

Of course all our beer is bottled up currently for coming events so nothing to pour at the moment. But is sure looks the bees knees.

I never doubted you'd step up and do what you could to fix it Ryan. As luck would have it though.....there's been a......'development' in the light arena. We'll see what you can do parts-wise with this. I attempted to climb a curb this morning at a less-than-optimal-angle and was forced to slowly set the Klr down on it's side. (the whole 'physics thing') The outboard-mounted light took the brunt of it and actually functioned as a cushion of sorts, with the bracket slowly bending in as the weight of the bike settled. The light housing' is scuffed, but other than that and VERY light marks on the handguard and rear turn signal lens, the bike's unscathed.

I immediately looked around for someone to blame but, other than a scrawny squirrel feverishly pawing his nuts a few feet away....I was alone in my shame.

I'll give you a call in a little while to see about whether or not a new bracket can be got and what your ideas are regarding the water intrusion.

(friggen squirrel anyway)
