Got my Givi e21's yesterday. Really wanted the PLX cases but this will do until I splurge on those. These worked on my SW-Motech Evo-style quick release racks with the $25 Givi adapters.

These should teach me to pack light.

Lets see the bike with the givis taken off. My Bandit came with the givi rack and I got teased that it looked like I was set up for carrying ladders. It really did look like hell without them on.

I didn't like the amount of bulk it added to the overall size of the bike given the size of the givi 21 liter "bags".

I sold the whole setup and used the money to buy an entire set of Nelsen Rigg soft bags. No regrets.

Here's the only two shots I have of the rack itself. Four 1/4 turn fasteners and it's off in literally 30 seconds. Ive been very pleased with them.

Affirmative. Was in Big Sur. Rolling to a stop, sneezed before I got my foot down, bam.

Wasn't aware of the proper method of lifting a bike at that time so that made getting it back up interesting.

Crash bars did their job though. No Damage, just a broken bar end mirror, broken brake lever, and a scuff on the Pelican and highway peg.

The lock did break on the SW-Motech case mount, but it's designed to be the point of failure, hence the bungees holding it on post-tipover

Well your rack looks a damn sight better than the Givi.

I am trying to find pics I took when I brought my B12 home. I also have a "dead horse" pic after I attempted to leave my driveway with the G21 bags on and bopped the mirror on my car.

The bike went a bit past 90 degrees because of a ledge and tent poled off of a peg. No way in hell was a mortal human going to be able to lift it. I ended up paying a tow truck. When he got here he thought he'd just man up and lift it so I watched. Not happening. Pretty embarrassing but the good news was that the G21 bag took a hit and was still in fine shape.

Hard bag rack

I run the Givi rack on my silver n black 03 and looks a little ugly without bags. Those 21's are not very big so I run a big set most of the time. An FJR is hiding in my garage and might push the bandit out. Any interest?

So my 12S needs a new set of handlebars after getting sleepy in my driveway (again ) Reccomendations? I'd like to maintain the same-ish riding position so no clipons

As it stands I have stock bars I believe so do try to let me know if I need longer cables anywhere. I do have stainless braided lines so maybe I can make up some room by shifting some mounting points around??? I haven't looked very close yet at it all.

Anyone here have a Sargent or Corbin seat they would like to part with for a 1st-gen 1200? I have been keeping watch for a couple weeks on eBay and the flea market here, but only one has popped up that I was not able to get. Don't wanna shell out $400 for a brand new one.

Bikemaster Daytona bars. I trimmed 3/4" off the ends and no line length issues. More comfortable bend than stock also.
