Has anyone else a similar problem and if so, were you able to correct it?
Bummer. Not sure what you could do other than try to build an adapter that moves the rack back a 1/2 inch or whatever is necessary. Or get a different rack.

Finally got the PLX V35 bags i've been lusting after. Complete setup with factory racks, sidecases, and top case was $625 shipped. Couldn't pass up that deal!

TexasinSeattle gave me some good advice about going over to Maximum Suzuki. There were several threads talking about the same problem. The easiest thing would be to shorten the seat slightly. I think that's what I'll do.

Lookin' good. Why'd you decide to go with those over the pelicans you used on your trip?

What seat do you have and does it use the stock seat pan?

Looks and passenger room. No way I could take a passenger with the Pelicans unless they were VERY narrow.

Swapped the body pieces on my Bandits last weekend and did a naked conversion this weekend. Also added a Corbin seat!

I think you need a different color tank to complete the look...

Pulled the carbs, rebuilt all of them, and added a Holeshot stage 1 jet kit.

Holy Smokes Batman!

This is what the thing should have been like from the factory!

Starts easier, idles smoother, accelerates smoother, deceleration pop is gone(Just a light rumble now), and I can feel a good difference in HP/Torque through my Butt Dyno.

I haven't put the timing advancer in yet but Dave's instructions make it sound like it makes things even better so I'll probably do that today.

Very nice! I was just looking at those the other day. Are you running stock exhaust or something aftermarket?
