If i recall correctly, I made it from Cheboygan MI to Saginaw MI, on my Bandit 1200S, in about 2 1/2 hours, it was about 180 miles. I would have went to jail if I had gotten radared anywhere.

Probably half of the early Honda CB-750's ended up with bars like that, along with having the forks extended.

Took my Bandit out for a little jaunt last week up to The White Mountains. Took it out on the Kanc and let her open up a lil' bit.

I was up that way in June, burned out some of the carbon on the Owl's Head heading up to Gorham & Berlin. Cleaned out some more on 16 up the Androscoggin- nice road but mind the moose.

Sure wish I was up there now, central MD is miserable in July/August, not as bad as winter- I guess riding in the wet cold is worse but some days summer is a close 2nd.... I'd move up to NH in a second if there wasn't so much holding me here.

Yesterday my 5 degree advancer from Holeshot arrived. Dale, who owns Holeshot, offers such great service. Great communication all through the purchasing and sending process.

The kit comes with the advancer and a new gasket. There is a very well written set of installation instructions.
I had it all fitted and the bike started up in under 10 minutes

I took the bike out for a quick blat. I sure have noticed a better response in low and mid range. I though the 12 was good in standard trim. Its even better now.

I have the OEM exhaust still fitted, no airbox mod and no re-jetting.

I was wondering how much the Holeshot advancer added. I did Dales full stage 1 (jets & airbox hole) along with the advancer, made the engine run a lot better- still on stock pipe. Gained something like 5mpg from it and lots more power.
