I haven't touched the jetting last year or this year. Seems to run fine with maybe a little more pop on decel.

Snow is not our friend!

I'm going to grab truck and trailer on the way home Friday. I'll be ready to do something.

My snowblower is the Banana Belt special. Got 6 forward gears and a whopping 5 hp but we'd need some nitromethane to get those kind of speeds.

How deep is this snow you speak of?

Will the lake take a truck or is that suicide? I have some black screws we could jam in the quad tires for some more bite.

round 2

How about this weekend guys
Sucks that i missed it, but just rebuilt my front after all that off and on about five times.
Here's my new front. Any tips guys?

Used all but about 30 from the old tire, there's about 500 screws in this one. Oh, and i resharpened EVERY one on the bench grinder.

mtrhead:

You might try tipping about every second or third center screw forward a bit as you mount them in the knob. It provides for excellant braking, if running on ice. If you're running on icy backroads, it doesn't make that much difference.

For the guys having trouble mounting ice tires, (I know it's a little late for this season - just found this thread today) you might find that warming up the side walls with a heat gun helps, if your shop is a bit on the cool side like mine...
