Ural Accessories required

Hey there folks, I'm looking for a sidecar windsheild for my new 08 Gear-UP and also a suicide shifter, and one more thing metal lowers. Oh and one more thing. A Ural trailer which is sold in Canada or the USA. Really now that is all

I have cut down my side car windscreen so it's not so much in the way, and built a trailer from scratch. Did you need a windscreen or just looking for an aftermarket one?

Get a set of Dnepr lowers from Yuri. They're metal:

He has trailers, too. I wouldn't buy a bike off the guy but the accessories are probably fine.

The Ural dealer in Oregon, raceway, sells the shifters.

I bought one of Yuri's Dnepr trailers about 5 yrs. ago. It looks good behind my Ural or BMW rigs. I paid $1000 for it and another $250 to have it shipped to the west coast. It's a great little trailer. I've even towed it behind my PT Cruiser.

I'm curious, why are suicide shifters so popular on the Urals? Are they used just for the reverse or for regular shifting?

Mine is a dual shifter for reverse and 2 wheel drive. Makes it easier getting out of 2 wheel drive when I reach the end of my driveway and suddenly find myself on the highway every morning going to work. The reverse is just because it looks neat on the tank.

I got mine from Raceway, http://www.racewayservices.com/ , give him a call. Don't remember the price right off but they aren't cheap. I didn't realize it at the time but I got the first one of this type that he made. He was making the Jockey shift and reverse levers for a while before I ordered min so I just called him and asked if he could make one with the reverse and 2 wheel drive and he said no problem, took my money and built me one. There are a few guys I know of that are using these now. I sent you some pictures of the installation to the email off of your home page from your profile.
