I had this problem with a TT500, but, with a points ignition, I was able to throw the points 180 degrees back to the right spot, and away I went (really helpful cheat!). Check your valve clearances as well, especially on the valve attached to the automatic decompression. If that valve is set too loose, you will get similar issues you are dealing with.

the whole point of installung the cam lobes down at TDC is to help installing the rocker cover...and make it easy... notice in the manual it makes no mention of being 180 off?...all it says is install cam lobes down... |

nice new gas and a little starter fluid will make a difference this is of course if its carb related or fuel related... if it will start by push starting then it might mean you are having stator issues...ie not enough juice to spark well |

Well it's kind a hard not to get low, cause it's consuming more then liter per 1000km's , never
ren out of it, but it gets very low :) P.S. Don't know what piston am I running, didn't open it, but am gone when it gets snowy, what I know is, I'm running on NX's cilinder (so its 100mm minimum), and the question is, will the FCR39 be enough to feed it? (I've found one from yz400, and I think it's 39, am I right)

![]() It's taken me 2 years to get my bike where I want it to be, it has been SO MUCH FUN! ![]() The key is not to get overwhelmed and take one upgrade at a time and don't focus on the whole thing. Stick with it, you will be happier in the end. If I can turn my 88 into a bike that has gone 7K + miles this summer who knows what you can do

Im pretty sure that any cr crf brake rotor cover will work on these forks as they share almost everything... all cr/crf forks share the same mounts, brakes mounts, clamps, etc... cheers bud |
