Thanks for working with us... I didn't know if you'd be game for meeting at that time. I guess the travellers must get back to Richmond before nightfall so its best not to prolong these things.
I may take a break from troubleshooting the TW starter Saturday to ride/familarize myself with Spring Hill Rd. Last time I went out there was with Skippii and Blacksan on my FIRST ADV ride.

Awesome, you two will have to meet some of us valley riders - post up next time you are in the area. We could head up to Comertown Rd through Shenandoah or do a Cub Run Rd loop. Nice to hear from ya!

As the weather warms it looks like we have a core group of interested riders here in valley. It might not be a bad idea to post a monthly ride, or even two rides a month: one dirt oriented, one street oriented. I do not own a dual sport so at least if we have a regular monthly road ride I can ride with the street group.

Great idea. I will think about the best way to arrange this and hopefully we can get an ongoing meet and location. Also good to mix in various food spots for destination or meeting location.
So my boss Warren may come on Sunday on his DL1000 - we'll see you at Sheetz 8:30!

Just got off the phone with DelawareDr-Z. He is going to meet us at sheetz. Also, my boss Warren will meet us at Sheetz at 8:30 so it looks like there will be a Multistrada, Ninja 250, Vstrom1000 and DR400. Should be a motley looking crew!

I got my fix today. 401 miles, 9 hours. I'll have to take a rain check on this one. Thanks for the invite though. Maybe some other time.

Yay melton! Looking forward to meeting up again. There should be four of us riding out from Harrisonburg. We will be meeting at Sheetz at 8:30 so it shouldn't take us an hour and a half to get down there. I just like to give some cushion time to take detours and if anyone is late.
Madstrom, wish I could have met up with you today but I was busy in the AM and then had to move the Valley Dual Sport tag around a bit. Gotta keep on top of the VDST points! We'll meet someday. EDIT:: Just heard from my boss, he is going to be working on his heated garage with his carpenter so can't make it.

Great Ride
Hburg, Hardy, and Henecton at the western entrance to the Blue Ridge Tunnel. The tunnel was completed on Christmas Day 1856. Crozet a French engineer and friend of Thomas Jefferson designed the rail tunnel underneath Afton Mountain. Irish and slave crews started work at both sides of the mountain. When they met each other they were found to be off by a mere 6 inches.
