Nice vacation.
Living so close I've only done 1/2 of what you guys did over the weekend in my lifetime.

It's fun to be a "tourist" sometimes.

The one thing you may have missed was Niagara on the Lake and Fort Niagara.
Good stuff.

Coming into the US is always a PIA.
They try and get a rise out of you(I think),part if why I have a NEXUS card.

Last time I crossed the border coming back in was last Oct. It was 30 couple degrees. When they asked if I had anything to declare, I said, "I declare it's freaking cold". I was on the bike at 6:30 am.

I was amazed just how rude the guy was to me .. Jumping Jehosaphat I'm an American and was very glad to getting back to my land !!!
Plus I had all my papers in order!!!

Al least at 6 am he did decide to search me and my bike .. To be even more of a brownspot...I didn't have anything bad any where other then my big hunting knife that I carry

...
But we didn't buy a thing there ,other then a sticker...

It's funny I took well over 2 gig of photos..
So I didn't even touch the photos..
I wish I could have posted the movies that I took...
And I have so many cool photos of the falls and the area around...

Spring has started to pop on the farm...

Just about all of our snow has melted...

HB asked if I would make some candy ..
So I made Pecan clusters.. And my version of 100Grand candy bars

I also made Turtles .. And NO turtles were harmed .. But a pecan was NOT safe..

I have a real nice soft caramel recipe .. That is just wonderful

Making home made candy is really a blast..

A friend of mine went to some Snowmobile races In MI..
I said hey can I post up some of you pic in another BBS ...
He said sure go for it ...

And with some of us stuck,Not able to ride much do to SNOW I thought this might be fun....

So I picked out a few really cool shots that he took....
I hope ya enjoy them as much as I did ....

I'll quote his words in { } .....

He said
{there was a new race about every 20 minutes and this first curve was always a lot of action with lots of photo ops.}.

I'll start ya off a little slow then ...He has a ton of photos...

{There were a couple small whoop de doos and then this nice big hill, and after they got up some speed they would go sailing off the end of it ! }

{Then they would hit those two small hills and get a little air...all the time those high torque engines winding and snow flying!}

{He said once he got the timing down ..He started to get some real good shots}

{ He said :They had to be doing at least 50 mph when they flew up that hill and went air born !}

WOW sme of these guys really get some air !!!

{This is a cool shot...the in the forefront on the green machine slowed down and drove over the hill, probably because he wasnt experienced enough to go air born...then he looks as the guy behind him goes flying by in mid air !}

{then, after every few races, they,ed roll this bad boy out and "groom" the track}

The winner...

He said this one did save it...

He said then they opened up to the little ones...

Well that's all that I picked out ...
I hope ya enjoyed looking at the Cool shots of WinterFUN ...

I wish I was there inperson .. As it really looks cool....
