Nope. It is on back order.

Also the seahorse case wasn't that great. My little toolkit came open and everything in the box was pulverized. Going to get a tail rack and a tank bag instead. In the box things rattle too much if it isn't completely packed.

Bummed that I missed both the Pho and the get-together Friday. I got called out on a job and couldn't make it.

Bikes in the Bottom

Rode down to Poes this a.m. just to hang out for a bit. Attendance was down for this beautiful morning, probably due to it being Mother's Day. Catch ya next month.

Great photo guys. I enjoyed the bikes and seeing all the inmates. Sometimes you just want to go over and hop on one of the bikes for a joy ride. How far do you think I would get?

Yeah, same experience here. Probably make a nice rock polisher. I mostly use the box for stuff like jacket liners/rain gear. Off road is brutal on hard stuff in that box and the rear fender is probably the roughest-riding place on the bike. Tool tube / fender pack work good.

Overall it is pretty good as a topbox, it is just that if you go off pavement and have anything hard in it, it will tumble around with everything else in the case. It didn't break when I fell over. I ordered a small tail rack so I can strap my backpack to it easier. I'll probably order a tank bag too.

+1 on Guys advice. Get some air in it, maybe a little beyond "limp" IMO.
I've done it thrice in the past six months and haven't pinched one yet (And there was plenty of cussing going on, trust me).

I always leave the core in so the tub is collapsed as from the package and that flat shape keeps it away from the bead/irons for me.

Once the tire is mounted, THEN I take out the core and hit the tube with only a little air about two or three times to get it to untwist and orient itself inside the tire. No problems so far.

Great Adventure Dual Sport and Adventure Ride

JayZee and I are going to this (2-3 June 2012):

http://www.durtydabbers.com/trials/w...Flyer-2012.pdf

These guys put on quite a run. Lots of fun, and a great Saturday evening cookout (with beer) provided. I've never done the Adventure Bike side, but I haven't heard any complaints.

It's a beautiful ride.

Oh, it's centered around Lock haven, PA. Home to Piper AC. Last time I was there, one of the fake torpedo bombers from "Tora, Tora, Tora" was buzzing the field.

I've ridden up in that area just east of Bellefonte, and it is a beautiful area. This was an all KLR thing that one of the locals put on. I met him while I was there visiting my daughter who was at Penn State at the time.

Count the KLRs:

A little single track:

Taking a break:

One of the vistas (me in the middle):

Might just venture out on this one Pete.

So I stopped at Martins on my home from work today. I was having fun filling my cart with the week's groceries.. Not a care in the world. I was coming up to the register when it struck me.. Motorcycle.

It's a bone head move for me because I ride to work every single day and I often stop for a few dinner items at the store.

I seriously need to pull the trigger on side cases.
