A little different this year. After commuting on a bike 99% of the time (12-1/2 miles with tolls) for almost 30 years, the "commute' this morning had me riding the KLR from the carport around the front of the house, and to the apron of the garage. Not ATGATT. Shorts and a tee; no heated grips required.

I didn't see a one, including me. My commute is ugly.. 95N from Chester to 64W to Innsbrook. Thankfully I only do it a couple days/week. Apparently most riders agree on this because I rarely see a bike along that route.

I did get out for a nice solo ride yesterday.. and the weather was beautiful! Wish it would stick around.

Yeppers. I got a used one in the mail Saturday from a guy I know, but it's from the wrong year FZ6. I figure epoxy will fix mine no problem. Oh well, I needed to change my coolant an clean out the reservoir anyway. I call that "forced maintenance."

Friday evening , the wife and I rode into town for dinner. Her first ride in a long time due to medical problems.
Then Saturday did a little 90 mile loop on the backroads in Caroline, Essex, and King & Queen county.

Sunday I actually cooked breakfast, took my son to my parents house, built my mom a fire pit, got home and fixed dinner... Thought I was suppose to have the day off?

Can relate. Going over the Connie now in anticipation of a road trip next w/e. Also wanted to check the brake pads since Inspection is due next month; they look good. Just shy of 13K, the front tire will definitely need changed. IMHO - there's enough tread left now for one more trip.... or maybe two Will probably swap it out when I get back.

Rode in as well. About 15 bikes here at work today which is just about the amount everyday.

Dumb luck that I rode in today trying to get my inspection updated. BTW I did have a nice solo ride yesterday morning since nobody came out of the woodwork.
