Chip's cheeky Not A Club stickers

I've got 5 black on white and 5 black on clear (you can see them here). Given Jeff's aversion to clubs that would take him, he's getting one. Any other takers?

I struggle with c-clamp for some reason.. it wants to slide away from the rim as I tighten. The sidestand trick works but you need another bike and is high effort in general. The little bead popper tool works and highly portable but slow and takes patience.

So I made this a few years ago. landscape timber, chain, 2 eyebolts. It's the cadillac of diy bead breaking.

I could use one of those right about now....got it heating up in the sun to see if that helps....I leaned a majority of the 550lb KTM (to the point I picked it up off the center stand)on it and it didn't budge...what I should have done was let all the air out and rode around on it. Thats still an option...

History?

Does anybody know this bike? It's owner? Comments, feel free to PM me... Do any of you have any experience with this specific model? If so please speak up.

Looks like a nice bike. Seat height is a concern but maybe that could be fixed with dog bones and cutting out a chunk of foam in the seat.

EDDY!!!!

What is with you buying all my old bikes? That is the KLX250 I built a few years back. Email me if you have any questions.

PS: I installed stiffer springs and shorter dog bones to raise it, but when my wife rode it I did the exact opposite so she could flat foot it at 5'4".

Here is a picture it when it was lowered:

Did The RTE Train Derail?

Hmmm, we had a great turn out on week one. Only four for week two. And no one seems to be offering suggestions for week three. Hmmm.

Perhaps we need to make this every other week? Or maybe we need to create a more "future looking" list of restaurants so we don't have to decide every week?

Here are some suggestions. Repost the list and add any place you'd like us to visit. Then we can randomly order them and start eating!

Carytown Burgers & Fries
Pad Thai
Galaxy Diner (Greg has a sticker, must be a connection)
Dot's Back Inn
Five Guys
Greek Grill Cafe
Brooks Cafe
Bottoms Up
MacLeans Restaurant
The Halligan Bar and Grill
Sticks
Pho So 1 (Always a crowd fav!)

So ... where this Friday? :-)

+1 Alamo BBQ. If all goes per plan I'll be outside Harrisonburg looking at an XT though. Anyone have some favorite lunch spots around Harrisonburg they can recommend?

Chub, at Rusty Rex we take a regular car jack and a 2x4, then jack down onto the tire from the trailer hitch on the truck. Two jumps on the truck and that bead breaks really easy. Now I am going to go make that tool ddlewis just posted
