Well yall have fun with THAT rte! Eating bull-balls is not on my bucket list. I don't even want to sit at that table.. Not sure I want to even eat in the restaurant that serves it.. what if there's some accidental cross pollination?

You'll come out of there hung like a stud. Your wife will love you for it.

I guess I'm the restaurant bearer of bad news today. Blowtoad is also closed down.

I went to the first couple they held there, as it was just down the road from my house, but as gun shows go, I found them a bit lacking. Prices were sky-high, dealers were'nt "deal"ing...there were lots of children running around and even more creapy folks....a lot of tables were junk unrelated to the subject.... being a new venue at the time, I figured it was ghonna be a bummer....

I usually can muster at least 2 hours at a good show...I was out of there in 40 minutes

I preferred the Showplace events

YMMV

Nope.

Thought about it, but I am "set" for the next several years. I no longer have a need to hit the gun show circuit.

Another one bites the dust

1997 Yamaha Royal Star Tour:
http://gbyoung2.smugmug.com/Motorcyc...r%20001-XL.jpg

Interesting bank of carbs. With the appropriate manifold adapters, this thing just begs for a set of Weber DCOE 40 side-drafts:

But alas, this is what's on there:

Had to pull the mufflers since I was also changing tires. I was surprised to find that the ID of the individual pipes wasn't much over 5/8".... if even that much.

Regardless, it's done and the owner is picking it up tomorrow.

Done did my good dead for the day, and I'm outta here. My 20T press finally earned its keep. Straightened the log beam on a neighbor's log splitter. Heavy as poo, but we managed to get it into place and manipulate it back and forth so the press' ram could do its thing.

And my wife thought I was crazy when I was buying all this "stuff." Can never have enough tools.

Same here. Better to stock up on Ammo. I have already seen the prices go up $30 more per case of both 40 and 45's that I just bought recently.

The best Indian food I have ever had is at Faruk's of India in Carytown. They do a buffet at lunch time that is every bit as good as fresh made.

I finally sold my Yamaha today. Nice guy gave me full asking price. Then... he dropped it two blocks from my house.
