Anybody here want a set of Ohlins for an R 1200GS Adventure. Fully serviced by Dave at fast bike industries. 1500 bucks. Offer here before flea market. Call Dave if you want to know specifics.
I had them serviced never back on bike.

That is not good news. I had a brand new rider buy my SV and drive it back to Nova this month, and I hoped and prayed that he would make it back okay. I've heard way to many horror stories of new riders dropping bikes before they make it 100 feet.

Do you think they will fit on my 3 Series?

I pulled out of the garage today and saw some fluid on the ground where my right rear tire is. Thinking it was brake fluid I stopped to investigate...after further inspection I notice the leak was from the right rear strut.

I guess I know one of the projects my son and I have next week when he gets home.

Yeah I was just poking fun at my miss fortune of having to replace the Struts on my car...instead of getting the chance to put new shocks on the GS...if I could make sales calls on the GS I would, but as dirtdoctor knows, not all my customers would appreciate me walking thru their office with riding gear on. WTH!!!

Horror stories indeed. A guy I know works at a local Kawasaki/Suzuki dealership and he's got stories for days of newbies dropping bikes while leaving the dealership parking lot.

Loftus, I saw your address on the invoice. I lived three blocks away at the corner of Surrey Cres and Hampton blvd for a couple of years while I attended EVMS. It was right at the slight left hand bend in Hampton Blvd before Bazemore's. We had more than one drunk sailor miss the turn and plow his car across our front yard at 2:00 am on a Saturday night during that time. Being woken up by tractor trailers headed to the docks and vibrating my bed at 0530 twenty feet from my bed is something I don't miss at all. I later bought my first home and moved to the other side of the bridge in Colonial Place. I remember back then (circa 1998) staying up at night before Lynn and I finished grad school, stressed and thinking to myself "how in the heck am I going to pay for this house!? I'm in trouble!" LOL!

Larchmont is a very pretty area. We miss Norfolk, but all of our family and friends (except you) are up here!
