First Run down the Mud Rd. for Nicole... She did great picked some good lines & made it to the very last big mud hole before dumping it...the great thing was she made it thru and was out of the hole when she got sideways in the greasy clay & shot into the woods... But she made it & had fun doing it...

Thanks Dan, Mike, John, Jeremy, & late comer with a hungover Ryan...fun ride today & special great the patients you guys showed at the end of each road...

Should read "Jeremy knew his boots leaked like a sieve and took this opportunity to put on dry socks."

It would not of mattered too much if they were though. Running through the puddles splashed water up my pants legs to me knees.

Great riding today. Working on getting my confidence back after blowing out my meniscus several months ago on the mud road. Definitely slick out there! After I left you guys I found some more forest roads that may need exploring. Not far from the Jeep Trail.

Michhub, did you get a picture of the zip tie rear brake repair?

I did manage to order the missing parts this evening, $18 after shipping. Teaches me to not use loctite when I put stuff back together.

Sadly, no....what better way to start a ride then by noticing your rear caliper brake pads pin is missing...

How about noticing your seat is held on purely by law of gravity because you forgot to bolt it on? It's funnier when it's not me.

It was cool blasting through those big puddles skinned over with ice. Good to get out and see the gang, 57F or not.

That didn't really bother me. I've been riding around like that for a bit while was adjusting my speedodrd to correct my super fast read 3x high speedometer that appears to be caused by a gauge cluster defect.

On the plus side, I didn't notice anything else fall off today.

Bike Show?

Anyone riding/driving up to the international bike show in a few weeks? And if so, which day?

Even though it's usually a pirate-fest, I do like to see the new bikes. I usually transport myself to the Springfield Metro and train it in from there. But I'm open. Didn't know if anyone else was interested.

(Oh, if you are, either buy tickets in advance or bring cash. They don't take cards. Don't ask me how I know.)

Same to Nicole and yourself!!

Really hope you packed that thing away after the photo-op. Akin to a billboard out there saying: "Free Bike."
