My bike is already getting beat up after one day in the training grounds. I'm not looking forward to it not looking pretty anymore. I need to get some mods on it ASAP.

It is off I-64 "exit 205 Bottoms Bridge exit. Turn left and continue until you see the shopping center on your right. We will assemble there for a brief safety instructions before departing @ 11A.M.

JHVA will be leading the ride since I am (Rusty Gross) still on the injured reserve list and I will be in my truck to enjoy the festivities & the scenic back roads to the "Rocco's Smokehouse " in Williamsburg will be the final stopping point after the ride. You can eat there and then continue your own ride or head home to watch football and enjoy your day with the family. That is your choice. JHVA says the average prices are in the $8-10 dollar range and up. Ordering will be from your choice on the menu..This is just a fun thing to do and is not any official ride so feel free to bring your friends .
Bump.

I've been lurking on the Richmond page for a few months, but I feel like I have to post now. Good call on the Alamo Groupon! I live a few blocks away and love to eat there.

For me, convenience. If I am planning on a day at the range, I'd rather carry five (5) 20-rounders than ten (10) 10-rounders. Also, if I have my sight picture in the "zone," I'd like to keep it there plinking away as long as I can without the disruption of having to drop a spent mag and stuff in a fresh one.

Besides, if I am a "free, legal and law abiding citizen," have passed all the current background checks to own a weapon in the first place, and have shown I'm not hell-bent on going out and ruining someone's day, why shouldn't I be be able to own a mag with the capacity of my choosing? It's all a part of being that "free, legal and law abiding citizen."

I see this part of the thread being moved to CS&M shortly.............

Yes please. I would greatly prefer gun opinions and all 2nd amendment arguments to go where they belong, to Jo Momma. That includes posting political calls for action and contacting your elected officials. I come to this forum to get away from all that, because it is dominating all other media.

I want to come here to talk motorcycles, riding, wrenching, eating, doing stoopid stuff, or meeting friends. It is my refuge from all the crap on the news and TV. Can we please keep it that way?

Thank you. We now return you to your regular Richmond Chatter forum.

Welcome.

Hey guys, I'm feeling a little old and Internet challenged. How does Groupon work? I'm sure being a tech savvy IT professional I should understand Twitter groupon and all the other buzzword websites but I'll admit I don't. Here comes the confession "Hello My name is Jeremy and I'm a Luddite IT professional". I just bought a blue-ray player because they finally got cheap enough.

Did the stock toolkit survive the trip off pavement?

You should just buy michhub a slingbox and watch it on his TV over the internet.

Also, please don't bring the Gun debate here. Take that to CSM. Yes JHVA did provide information on a bill that is going to be proposed but that doesn't mean it needs to be debated here. Last time I looked none of us were members of the Senate or House. There are several of us here that have strong feelings on this topic. That doesn't mean we want to argue about it.

I've ridden about 3 hours off road and so far it's still hanging on there. I need to get my suspension set up still.
