Happy New Year to our more northern friends! Weather sucks down here, looks like I'll be spending the day finishing up my bathroom remodel project.

Happy New Year to all..............no rain up here in F'burg, just an overcast, low 40's type of day.......thinking about riding NW away from what you all are getting down to the southeast.

Too bad the weather down there sucks. Not bad at all here in Stafford. Good thing I checked one more time and saw the NYD ride was cnx. Would have sucked to ride the whole way down there and be the only FF in the parking lot! Always have a backup plan. Met the local contingent of the BMWBMW club for breakfast and a nice back road ride for a total of 100 miles.
Have a great new year! VAC

Happy New Year! I rode to a friend's house for black eyed peas, and I was the only one on a bike. Neat!

I had good luck using Uship for my new bike. I purchased the bike on craigslist, Columbus, OH area. The cost to ship was right at $230 + uship's $20 surcharge. The guy picked up a Friday (5pm or so) and delivered the next morning around 11am. If you are buying a bike anywhere between the midwest and the northeast I can pass along his info to you. This way you can avoid the Uship surcharge. The biggest PITA was coordinating pickup and delivery times. Parties on both ends have to remain fairly flexible. He was fully licensed and insured as well.

73 Moto Guzzi Eldorado, police model for $2150 is a steal, wish I had the funds handy, it would sell for $4500 to $5500+ in the spring, BUT I would keep it

Surprise, all obvious scams! http://richmond.craigslist.org/mcd/3515982830.html http://richmond.craigslist.org/mcd/3515995427.html http://richmond.craigslist.org/mcd/3506703338.html http://richmond.craigslist.org/mcd/3515966688.html http://richmond.craigslist.org/mcd/3515936051.html I GUARANTEE that if you inquire about any of them, you will get a lame story that involves shipping, escrow, forwarding money, overseas trip and the best one "you can inspect it and if you don't like it, I will send you your money back!", LOL!..I can't believe that people STILL fall for this!
