No worries Guy. Pete hooked me up and I'm now ready to roll.

Have a great trip!

Yeah I saw a post about meeting at Montebello this weekend. I'm thinking of heading up that way but my freaking pipe is WAY too loud and I'm on the 17" street stickies. I still might attempt Shoe Creek though...I don't want to piss anyone off with the FMF Powercore.

New tire on the XT rocks!

Thanks again Pete (and Mike for moral support)! I installed the wheel tonight. Even though the numbers say it's slightly narrower than the stocker I had to mod the chain card to fit it properly. Otherwise it would've sounded like a had a playing card in my spokes.... not a bad idea - the 225 could use a little beefier sound.

Anyway, that Cheng Shin 858 is pretty burly. I was trying to do some burn-outs in a gravel parking lot (to sand off some of the mold release) and that thing wouldn't spin. Every time I tried the front end popped up instead. Oops

Anyway, thanks again Pete.

oh yeah, also did this tonight...

I did this simple and basically free rear signal relocation tonight. The link shows it on the XT of course, but it should work on many other DS's I imagine.

Cool...for the price it seemed like a pretty 'meaty' tire....folks like Pete always have tips & tricks that us rookies can use thanks for the beer, now lets get that tire out in the dirt

as a semi-unemployed resident of eastern Henrico I went out and caught a few fishies today.....

Eating fish from the James ....I can always find someone that will though...that stringer was the guy next to me, I just kept asking him if he wanted them, he was a long time local and new about the 2 meals per month restriction but was teaching his wife on how to cook fish.....

Oh ya, the Motion Pro "Bead Buddy"...looked mighty handy if you only have two tire irons...
