Guessing we are talking about 522 & 60? I can do 0800, but no rush for me to leave so soon. Hell I think with the time change that will put me leaving in the dark here on the East end.

Andrew, I spoke with Chuck yesterday, he mentioned that he found a nice, open area about a mile from the bottom of cell tower road, off Wiggins Spring, and near the AT with fire rings. He should be back late Thursday with more details.
Unfortunately, as of now, the weather is looking somewhat questionable. Low of 36 Saturday night in Natural Bridge with a 40% chance of showers, yuck. Stay tuned and cross your fingers!

I think this was it: 37.759830, -79.204285

You can't get to it from top of Alhambra, the gate is closed. Have to come in from Coffeytown to Wiggins..

There are several nice places in that area to camp. If you take the road that go's up to the towers, halfway up is a nice road off to the right... follow that a mile or so to a meadow on a hill and there is a nice fire ring but may be windy as it is on the crest of the hill.

Also, there is a nice place if you continue on wiggins spring road out a ways.. down at the bottom of the big s-curve.. right past that house, is a great convenient fire ring by the stream... no wind there.

I can pin em on a map if you like... le me no.

Enough is enough!

Where in Hades did this cold and wind come from? It was a pretty decent day up until an hour ago. Rode the KLR earlier this a.m. to the other side of town to take a look at a bike, and it wasn't all that bad. Now, Brrr.
