I am officially postponing "my" ride this weekend, will reschedule it in a couple of weeks. Standby for more info. Now I don't have any excuses for the honey-do list this weekend.

WTF!? I understand Honda's desire to increase sales volume by making a economical, easy to ride and efficient mid-sized bike but DAMN! This this is seriously ugly! Looks like a love child from a Honda DN-01, a 600 Shadow and a NC700X menage-a-trois!

Wa Dafuq isat? I hope that isn't the new styling trend for everyone.

Actually, I hope it is the new styling direction for everyone. I want wee stroms to be considered pretty bikes.

Really? I don't think it's bad looking at all. I don't want one, but it's somewhat cool looking especially in the light-tourer getup. A vstrom/weestrom will probably run circles around it but a beauty constest easily goes to the Honda.

I'll try to act bummed that the camping weekend is postponed..

Kinda looks a Goldwing lite Too bad the motor doesn't have any real grunt. Might be fun if it made 75-80 HP. It needs crash bars too because there's lots of expensive plastic there. It's the right color.

Some things are OK, some not. It's the exhaust that stands out for me in the "not" category. Fairing is OK, I could grow to like it. Kinda looks like something OCC would do to a sport-tourer in a way.

I owned a Vee Strom 1k and can tell you, the ugly Honda looks better. That Vee Strom was the most god awful looking thing on earth. I hated the way it looked from day one, and no matter how many aftermarket adventure stuff I bolted it, it still made me puke alittle every time I saw it. On the other hand it ran like a bat out of hell.

Well .... I may be wrong but Im guessing, if Guy put a new tire on for you it wasn't a car tire. I meant to send you a photo but I was out of town and couldn't get one uploaded.

New AdvRider

While you guys were at the RTE today Todd and I introduced a new inmate to the back roads of New Kent. No we didn't take him down CC14 but we did get him wet and a tad muddy. His name is Scott Miner and he rides a very nice BMW 800GS. If any of you know Ed Andrews (fellow Adv Inmate) Scott flew with Ed in the Navy. He now fly's for Delta. Great job today Scott!
