I guess Greg will want this thing running again at some point.

Tranny off is next. But that will be a job for tomorrow.

Maybe it's just because I've worked at a car wash so long, but I can barely stand to look at that poor dirty bike. I just want to clean it!

KLIM Customer Service

Kudos to KLIM for their "Guarantee to keep you dry" warranty.

After my last "RAIN" event I noticed a wet spot on my arm when I got home. After a quick phone call .... off went my Badlands jacket to get inspected. Long story short .... Within 7 days I have a brand new jacket back in my closet. They called it a Gortex material failure.

Just saying.....

We can fix that. I'll be putting on my new rear Kenda this weekend. You are welcome to come watch, participate.

That would be great! Can I bring you a 6 pack or something?

I would love to come watch you change the tire. My front tire is the original with 9,xxx miles on it now. I'll be ordering a new front as soon as I can. If our schedules for the weekend work out I would love to come out. I'm off work tomorrow through Sunday, but I know all my mornings are booked up so it may not work out. Just let me know when you plan to change it, and I will ride my bike down if my wife hasn't booked my time out.

Hey Burton, I have a large, new looking yellow dry bag given to me the other day by Michhub as he was clearing out for the move. I already have one just like it, but took it anyway to carry the other loot he was giving out.
looks exactly like this, but different brand I believe

Anyways, yours if you want it.
I was JUST looking at these online. I will be happy to bring you a 6 pack of your choice as well?

Sam (Adams) is my good friend. Nothing seasonal, just plain lager. But if you really want to impress me, find a German beer that ends in "ator". Like "Priminator", or "Optimator", or "Salvator". The "ator" is the desingation for a spring double bock, and is heaven on earth for guys who like beer with some meat on its bones...... But I warn you, it ain't cheap. A six-pack of a good double bock with cost about the same as a 12-pack of Sam's.

Let me know when you are free. I'd like to get another ride in the weekend with Joe. Late afternoons would be fine. Changing a front tire doesn't take that long, especially with tubed tires. I need to change my rear tire anyway.

Sounds good. Where in Petersburg are you located? You can PM me if you prefer.

When is the next race to the cell tower? I want in on the action, and think I have pretty good shot at being Mid-Pack.

Man the niceness just keeps coming. I feel like I need something to give. If anyone ever needs a garage to work in I should have a nice one after next weekend. Hopefully there's something more I can offer at some point.

It isn't like it is an expensive tire. Like $35 new. I ran it for 3k or so. It still has plenty of tread but I was possessed to put a tire on front that matched the rear. I also have some Kenda track master 2s of which the rear is half worn, but I'm keeping those for now. You've been here before. Give a yell before you stop by.

Thanks! I feel like I just need to take a day just to pick up bike parts.

I will, but not the riding type. Will continue disassembly of Greg's bike once my daughter and grand-kids head back to MD.
