I like the sound of this. It will get me out to new dirt I haven't ridden before.

How about any county that "touches" the City of Richmond to also include the City. That would be sweet. Yeah Dinwiddie was an odd inclusion and I was grateful it was added since I lived there. Now I live in modern times with not only Hi-Speed internet but Chinese delivery as well. Life is complete.

I'm so looking forward to the new TOR.

Ya'll set the rules and I'll keep my nose out of it hahaha

Scoots Richmond question for you -

my wife and I landed some tickets for the show next Thursday at Poco state park and are going to mess around town on Friday. Found that Scoots Richmond is a Revit dealer and was wondering what kind of selection of gear they have.

Been shopping for a new jacket and pants, but I like to try stuff on first, especially if I'm going to drop serious money on them.

I am so freakin' stoked for this weekend. Morton's BMW Off-Road Training is happening on Saturday and we have a LOT more stuff for this year. Eddy and HalfPlate are assisting and we have a few more trail volunteers as well. The intermediate/advanced group will have lots of trail riding opportunities and even the newbs will get a chance to try a trail.

I only hope it doesn't rain between now and Saturday. I rode the beginner trail on Tuesday and tore up a hill because my 1200 kept sinking into the mud going up a hill. I almost couldn't get out and it hadn't rained in 2 days. I've ridden that trail several times before with no problems. It is not a difficult trail (just some 90 degree turns and mild elevation changes) unless it is wet.

My 6 year anniversary is Sunday, and I will probably be taking the wife out tomorrow, but I'm going to try and ride Saturday I think.

Massanutten allows motorcycles and is only a few minutes farther away if you go 64 to 15 to 33

A buddy and his son and I are riding to Dayton, Ohio this weekend. Rt 33 all the way across WV, and backroads to Dayton. We're gonna spend two day there seeing everything related to the Wright Brothers and flight. The Museum of the US Air Force, the Presidential Air Force One museum, the Wright Brothers original cycle shop, and Huffman Field. I am really looking forward to the ride and the trip.

At least they have diamonds open at night at Massofnothing. At WG all you get is Eagle's Swoop. I think there are a couple of diamonds now open off the Eagle lift open at night, but they are only diamonds on a trail map and not in actuality I usually leave at 4:30 AM and go to snowshoe and ride all day and then stay in Cass at the Black Bear Lodge, ride the next day and then try to make it home with as few rest stops as possible. I can't pull over and sleep for twenty on the bike at night in the middle of winter though.

Diamonds are no fun at WG or Mass after dark as they all become sheets of ice. I hit Snowshoe as well nowadays. I just stay in the inn at Snowshoe though. Super cheap, and I can get them to hook me up with lift tickets sometimes. And I can shuttle up if I really want to.

Cub Creek is a beautiful little road.

Kept seeing little roads off it and wondering what was up there....anyone know? Looked like forest service land.

Wintergreen sure does have a nice spot...but I sure wouldn't want to live there. I go to the mountains I want to get away from people...not nest with them.
