Po-Po already gave me a nice warning for wheelies for the entire span of the Martin Luther King bridge. I'm not gonna push my luck again. Now I'm starting to think they put the front wheel on for a reason?

You'll need to go over all of the intricacies of the COG and the Connie with him! I know he'll appreciate your wealth of experience!

Hey Jimmy, speaking of Connie........

Mine's been sitting all week since I decided to give the KLR a little exercise. Which brought to mind: How's yours been doing since you got it back?

You did get it back, correct??

Yes, it's back in the garage. Been sitting there since I picked it up last Thursday or Friday. They said they couldn't find a leak in the case - only the seal behind the CS sprocket. This is the 3rd seal now. Said everything was in spec, and they suspect the tech didn't install it correctly last time.

I might get to ride some this winter if I can get the garage and shed finished...

3rd seal? That my friend is all you need for the lemon law. I have a lawyer I'd recommend but I had to threaten his ass that I was going to call the VA BAR because he wasn't worth the steam off my piss. (sorry in a bad mood today. freaking Jetta TDI check engine light came on yet again and went into limp mode YET again.....already replaced all the vacuum lines...guess I have to clean the intake and replace the N75 now too ...grrrr) Anyways yep you might have yourself a case.

Cry lemon law sucks...pun intended...

I tried using the lemon law years ago, it is a waste of time...

getting that seal right will be much more affordable and easier....if you wanna tackle it if it fails Jimmie, I'll try to assist...they likely are trying to jam a seal in place without splitting the cases down to clean the innerds prior....and they won't stick. shortcuts....

lemon law requires tons of paperwork, laying the machine into limbo, and is a major headache. We gave up after sidelining the vehicle for 8 months and just took the loss.

Anybody know of a good restaurant / diner on rt 6 in the vicinity of Manakin, Sabot, Goochland, crozier?

Looking for a breakfast spot. (a place like The Mineral Restaurant would be perfect.)

Satterwhite's in Goochland County is my favorite breakfast place, but it's on 250, not 6. A bit bigger than the Mineral place, but same great down home cookin'.

116 Broad Street Rd, Manakin Sabot, VA‎ - (804) 784-1994‎

Here's the pic... If you've never tried Scrapple, this is the place to get it. Best in Va. and for $2 you get one nice sized piece. Throw in a couple of pancakes and home fries and I'm in Heaven...I'd join ya there if I didn't have other business to attend to in the am..

I was by there about 6 weeks ago, and it was "Closed by management". No further info was posted. I'd check before heading out there....

BUT, you're right. It's an awesome place, even without the historic "Mammoth Burger."

I can't think of a single place on Rt 6, other than "the chicken place" up at Scottsville.
