Whoo hoo! We are up to 14 now, with possibly two wives and some furry kids. This should be a lot of fun.

Just got a reply and he's heard nothing about it.

Man cave in the works!

Just got back from buying all the materials for the garage that'll be going up shortly. Hope to have County approval Tuesday, then the fun begins.

30 years in the making, with my luck I'll have a fookin' heart attack 10 minutes after driving the last finishing nail.

I'd offer to help ya Guy but I can't cut a straight line with a laser guided saw.

Guy,
When you get ready to frame it, you need to host an old fashioned "barn raising" and call everyone to come help. I'd be willing to donate some time.

Yeah I'm willing to come help as much as I can! I just changed the serpentine belt on my Subaru a few min ago so I might be able to drive in a screw.

I just got mine insulated. All that's left is sheet rock, electric & plumbing fixtures.

I'm going to have to wait until summer probably before I can epoxy the floor. I'm having too much underground water flow, and my concrete & block foundation is staying too wet. I'll have to dig around the foundation on 2 sides, install french drains, and waterproof.

I'm 5 months behind schedule...

Yeah, make sure you insulate and sheet the insides BEFORE you put stuff in. I just got through finally finishing mine after 9 years!

Not sure if I'll see you guys on the 30th. I have conflicts.............

If you are going to build it yourself, I highly recommend a nail gun.

I hate to miss the party, but I'm going backpacking in PA that weekend. Thanks for the open invite.

And to anybody on the fence... "there aint no party like a Jeff Munn party." You should go.

Looking for a car...

for my 16 YO daughter. Looking at Civics right now but will consider other small 4 doors.

We found a sweet 2000 Accord EXL today, one owner with 88K but she really wants something smaller/cuter. Want to stay around 10K.
