I feel your pain...I shipped my Tourmaster Synergy heated jacket back under warranty early January. 6-8 week processing time then they have to ship it back from distributor to MotoSuperstore and back to me. Wishing I had bought Gerbings from a local dealer last year At least I have my G3 gloves to keep warm meanwhile though the wires are a PITA. Bitch bitch bitch, I'll get everything finally set up in time for spring, just like last year

I had really good luck with my tourmaster under warranty. My right glove lead stopped working. I sent it back to riders discount, same deal 6-8 weeks. Well the guy called me just a fews days after I mailed it and said tourmaster approved the warranty and he was shipping me a new one. Sure enough.. I was without for about a week.

Of course I haven't ridden in two weeks because of the ice.

This ain't my first go-around with warranty folks including Tourmaster and Helmethouse distributor. I do ride and use my gear everyday though.

Tourmaster Boots
Olympia GoreTex Winter Gloves
Joe Rocket Ballistic 5.0 Jacket/Pants
JR 7.0 sent back after leaks but they refused to warranty because original 5.0 purchase older than one year.
TCX Infinity Boots
Guardian Motorcycle Cover

Sent Stich Back after crash for repair

Got a single. I'm happy with my grip heaters and and wanted less bulk on the upper torso. Don't know that I have enough juice on the wee for more heated gear.

I was emailed a coupon for Tourmaster Synergy gear from Comp. Acc. have been really tempted but one thing has stopped me and that was 'Tall' is not available with that gear and Gerbings does offer it...now, with hearing about warranty claims etc I wonder if the Gerbings price point is worth it

I've got enough to run a 90watt jacket at 30watt gloves wide open. I can also run pants and socks if I keep an eye on my voltage and modulate.

If I kill a headlight, I've got enough juice to run everything wide open, though just barely, but I don't have heated grips. I hear the '08 and newer weestroms have a little more juice (25watts) than my '07..

Gotta love the 'hub' system...I had to fly from Richmond to Philly, to catch a flight to Dallas for a conference. What a PITA...

And on another b*tching note, I finally was able to clear enough of a path from my back shed to the street to get Connie out and it looks like there is another couple of inches of snow on the ground this am ...Freakin' Groundhog's fault...

Well, my 24X26 aluminum carport is bowing beneath the weight of all the snow. When it was moved and reinstalled behind the garage, the guys didn't get it leveled. With the added weight of the snow, the supports are bending and the legs are trying to fold under.

I climbed on a ladder and shoveled about 6' from the edges last night and blew my knee out in the process.

I love the snow, but I'm ready for it to melt now so I can get this thing repaired before it completely fails.

Jimmy,

Bad news with bad knees. I tell you, knees are iffy joints as we age, I know mine are. Hang in there man.

hrm

So I actually tried to drive to work. Made it about 2 miles before I turned around. Any gear in the little sentra at 20 mph the front tires would just spin. Not to mention what happened when I tried to stop.

Work didn't announce closing and neither had the base before I left. This morning is definitley the worst I've driven in this year. WEnt through the light at the front of my neighborhood twice in about 5 to 10 minutes. The 2nd time through there were 2 additional accidents there.

Now I get to telecommute if I can get my laptop to connect.
