Pardon me but does this Tdub make me look fat? Oh no, it's a thread by Geek for folks not from Colorado.

Great pics too.
Yup, great stuff there...I got winded etc in Crested Butte, the GF got headaches so these words of wisdom struck a chord

Generalized Hypoxia occurs in HEALTHY people when they ascend to high altitudes and it can lead to things like altitude sickness, high altitude pulmonary edema (HAPE) and high altitude cerebral edema (HACE). This stuff can kill you. I dunno the official rules but my rule of thumb is any time I'm above 10,000 feet I pay attention to my body for signs of altitude sickness. If you live closer to sea level you might want to start keeping an eye out any time you are above 8000 feet or so.. as your body will not be as acclimatized. Be aware if you start to develop a severe headache or feel nauseous and weak.

GFF - I requested time off with my manager....................

No trouble, but for a minute they were thinking I was going to start a bonfire and break out the Scotch when they heard an ADV'er was coming by. Ya know, 'cause whenever there is more than 1 ADV'er in any given locality, mischief cannot be not far behind...

ADV slow-down

Any of ya'll seeing a latency in your replies or text entry?

I've noticed it on 2 computers recently. Seems like it takes forever for the cursor to return so you can begin, or continue typing.

just on my phone.

Mike- funny you mention those things, some of my favorites! My wife and I plan on several bonfires this year. We finally have a place to do it! There will be much wine (and other things) and song. I'm trying to get a batch of brown ale going soon and if I can get the freezer downstairs in gear, my first batch of lager.

I'll need guinea pigs err uh, taste testers of course.
anyone interested?

I used to make a lot of beer but haven't for 20 years I guess. But I'm intersted in the brewing science and available for testing. Yeast, malt, hops and water are our friends.

that is a cool harley

But I keep wondering why people think leather tassles are cool. There is a bike I've seen going on base that has 2 foot tassles from the ape hangers along with tassles hanging from the crash bars and language. I keep thinking the dude is really pushing the don't ask don't tell policy to it's limits.

I can understand a touring bike, but i can't understand the ape hangers and leather in places other than clothing or seats.
