Didn't know that about BING with the birds eye view. Will have to remember when looking for parking.

I am surprised though that ebay gets top spot on the links toolbar a couple ahead of ADV and a bank in New England.

Oh, and of course the guy used a real address, the money has to go somewhere.

Use it all the time. Originally accessed it thru "Windows Live" or "Live Earth" URL, but that's now re-directed to BING.

Its called Pictometry. Aerial photography flown at oblique angles. There is a grant out there now to fly parts of state with it but the cost to localities can be high.

Wow, how to derail a chatter thread

I've mostly use google. I also use yahoo as my homepage at home, just for the news. I've always leaned towards google at work as a home page, because it loads fast, since it is mostly blank and doesn't get me distracted with random news stories when I am looking for information.

In the past I stayed away from the predecessor to bing, MSN.com because it tended to load very slowly. yahoo maps has always seemed to be playing catch up to google and MSN/bing was always matching any feature google put out in a matter of weeks.

On another thought, my tires are finally shipping from mc superstore. Anyway, if the weather holds I'm going to go burn the last of the tread of my rear tire.

There's an RC indoor fun fly and swapmeet in Mechanicsville next weekend, if anyone's interested.

Jeremy, this is "chatter" at it's best. You didn't hijack/derail anything.

Soooooo, this is the 2nd. Sunday of the month

Anyone up for BITB tomorrow??

Got as much done today as I could getting the path layed out for the driveway, including moving a BA Forsythia. Neighbor who was going to get a stump grinder, didn't, due to the supposed rain that was to last all day. Stubborn Crepe Myrtle stump is the only thing in the way, but he said he'd whack it out next w/e while I'm on a 3 day ride over in WV.

Sooo, I'm planning on heading down to kick tires, but need to get back before my older daughter runs back up the road to Columbia, MD.

Who's going??

GoPro...Go Bragh...

So today I decided to check out Shamrock the Block downtown....wasn't raining...actually turned out really nice as you
may have noticed. I brought the GoPro and hung it around my neck set to snap a pic every 5 seconds...I have video
as well but Smumug limits me to 10Mb and all the clips are bigger then that....anyway here are the editors picks from the
collection...first up some standard camera shots.

Now some randomness from the GoPro 'Neck Cam'

And a nice snack at Bottom's Up afterward...

I'm not a dirty old man, ok maybe I am ...rest of the collection HERE

Conti Trial attacks front and rear. The shipped yesterday so I don't plan to mount them till next weekend. Got enough tread for whatever I am gonna do until then. My front is not bad. The rear is only worn real good in the middle.

So who is up for a DIRT ride next Saturday if there is no rain in the forecast? Wife and kids are out of town so I'm thinking of Shoe Creek or some of the forest roads off the BRP. CrossedUP? Anyone?
