Looks like sunny and warm from Monday on. Should dry up nicely for a Saturday ride along Shoe Creek and Sherondo. It's been a long wet season. Hope I'm not too rusty to keep up with you.

Chuck Batt is looking for riders for a ride on the 19th (Friday). Lemme know if you're interested, and we can all gang up together , or whatever.
I am more inclined to go Saturday. Ed, no more tickets.

I can't do Friday but Saturday is fine with me.
So we have Ed, Pete and myself so far. Maybe I should start a new thread

Didn't make it to BITB. Visiting daughter got up before I was going to leave, so decided to stay put and visit before she had to head back up the road to MD.
Weather was/is a little pi$$y with a drizzle, so standing around in the rain shooting the breeze didn't sound all that appealing.

Bitb
Felt about the same. Didn't go because standing around wet wasn't appealing.
Also had horrible time getting sleep and with the time change, I figured to skip it and catch up on chores around the house.

(hoping for good weather...and spousal approval )MacDad Google Maps says Shoe Creek is near Massies Mill? that seems WAY out there! what time are you thinking? |

MacDad!!!
http://advrider.com/forums/showthread.php?t=559123 I've ridden VERY nasty trail conditions on sportbike tires on one of my SuperMotards and had no issues. I just had to adjust for conditions I'd say come along and enjoy the day!

BMW SS1000R sighting
Sooooo, the weather was so nice after work and I decided to take my XS650 out for a spin. Coming back on to Quaker road, I saw a bright, weird light in my mirrors. At the stop sign, a gentleman on a black BMW sooperbike pulls up beside me.
Neato. Somebody actually pulled the trigger on it here in New Kent! Is it one of you?

I wish....
Hey Pete, which one was it?
I should have never taken the test ride last time I was at Mortons.....man what a machine that K1300 is! If the damn thing wouldn't be so uncomfortable on all day rides I might of seriously considered a trade in of F800. Quote:
