I drove by there while you were there. It looked like everything was under control and there wasn't any emergency crew. Hope everything is OK.

The GF sees that avatar and always has a reaction. She refers to it as Mr potato head.

Just regular 2d but is only $1.99 per ticket. being slightly colorblind I don't really like 3d anyway.

Great weather today...took NVBB(Graham) up on his offer to mount up some tires using his
No-Mar copy. Funny thing, the front was the tough one

Ahhh...fresh rubber

Thanks again Graham! I would have been sweatin' buckets fighting that HD tube on the front...
not to mention the brake pad ordeal

Sure don't feel like I accomplished much today, but looking back, match-drilling 50+ holes to put the treated sill plate in place took more time than I would have expected.

With that out of the way, serious wall framing begins tomorrow evening.

Yep.

What the guy with the freaky avatar said.

I visited a buddy's garage project today, and it blew me away. 30 x 40 with a full walk up apartment above. Fully plumbed with separate septic system, 200 amp electric service, 12' walls with a steel I beam for structural support and great for pulling motors, epoxy flooring, etc.

Absolutely amazing job for a computer geek who doesn't mind swinging a hammer.

I thought about water and sewer, but dismissed it because of all the aggravation and $$ required. I'll walk around back or keep an empty Gatorade bottle around. For "serious" stuff, I'll walk/run to the house.

Also thought about a steel beam down the middle of this one. Still not to late to do that. Will just have to build up the pilasters on either end.
